Costs
Legal representation should not be a question of income. We strive for a fair solution that secures our professional work and at the same time enables access to justice. Before any consultation or authorisation, we will provide you with comprehensive information about the costs.
As cost structures vary greatly depending on the area of law, we will limit ourselves here to the basic principles of cost law. If you have any uncertainties regarding the costs incurred, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.
First Consultation
Depending on the scope and complexity of the matter, we charge between EUR 150 and EUR 190 plus VAT for a first consultation. If you decide to instruct us to represent your interests, the initial consultation fee will usually be offset against the subsequent costs of the proceedings.
Beratungshilfe
If you have very little money, you can also apply for legal aid so called "Beratungshilfe" at the local court. Please bring the legal aid certificate and 15 EUR with you to the consultation.
Costs of the proceedings
In principle, legal fees are governed by the Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG). The decisive factor here is the so-called value in dispute, i.e. the value of the matter in question. A reliable legal costs calculator can be found on the website of the German Bar Association. In complex cases or for ongoing advice, we agree on individual fee arrangements. Upon agreement, we can arrange payment by instalments.
Legal Aid
If you do not have sufficient financial resources, we will be happy to check whether you may be entitled to legal aid.

Legal insurance
If you have legal expenses insurance, we will be happy to handle all correspondence with your legal expenses insurer.
