Helene Middelhauve
Pronouns: She/her
I have been working as a lawyer since 2025, specialising in asylum and migration law as well as tenancy law.
In my work, I aim to defend human rights against state and economic actors.
I studied in Freiburg and Jerusalem. I completed the practical part of my studies (legal clerkship) at a law firm specialising in asylum and migration law and at Equal Rights Beyond Borders e.V. in Berlin, among others. During my studies, I worked as a consultant in asylum and migration law for several years.
Before becoming a lawyer, I worked as a research assistant at the German Institute for Human Rights, where I researched and published on gender-based and domestic violence. I am particularly committed to bringing this expertise to my legal work and strengthening the rights of those affected.
I am a member of the Republican Lawyers' Association (RAV) and the Migration Law Network.
